Local activities and events

There is always a lot going on in Forres and the surrounding area.  Please check the web links to get listings.  In the meantime here are a few regular & one-off events and nearby venues you might like to see or visit.

Why not make a real break of it and stay at Tullochwood for the Westlife Concert at Cawdor Castle on 28th August 2010?  Just 40 minutes drive away, the location is ideal for the concert and a relaxing break.

Our closest town is Forres which hold their 2010 Highland Games on Saturday 10th July  – www.forreshighlandgames.fsnet.co.uk. 

You can find regular music and a family friendly restaurant at the Mosset Tavern in Forres - www.mossettavern.co.uk.  There is also regluar live music at Kinloss - www.loftgigs.co.uk, or the Warehouse at Lossiemouth - www.thewarehousetheatre.co.uk. 

The Findhorn Foundation has various activites, events and courses which you can find listed www.findhorn.org/uhall.  Alongside the Foundation is the Moray Art Centre  and Universal Hall running an annual local and international programme of exhibitions, events, classes and art residencies.  For more information please visit www.morayartcentre.org.
